Welcome
Welcome to my fotopicture site. I have been collecting photos of the long term restoration/maintenance of D5401 over the last few years of the progress that I have been making to return the locomotive to active service. Also there is additional galleries to the site for 47205, 37679 and past guests 33053, 56098 and some resident steam locos. With a general view of the Northampton & Lamport Railway and a gallery about a former N&LR resident 25035 (D5185) now based at the Great Central Railway

Hope the pictures are of enjoyment to you to see what has been involved with. 2008 has just been one painfully slow year so far in terms of maintenance work but finally by 30th September 2008 D5401 was started-up and run well considering the time it was stood out of use.

Presently based at the GCR for a few years to recouple earning to pay for futher on-going repairs/maintenance for D5401. 2009 season has seen much running time so far and a short but excellent visit to the Nene Valley Railway in March for their Spring Diesel Event.

Much work continues on the locos upkeep and much more work continues at the locomotives original base at the Northampton & Lamport Railway.
