D5401 at Pitsford in early March

A bit rare 7 people making a ramp and all Allelly's employee's, needless to say D5401 was off the low loader in 20 minutes

Early March I have just undercoated the bufferbeam before applying a top coat a few days later

Now unloaded and running waiting to propel the water carriers to Loughborough

Getting ready to move to Loughborough

At Loughborough station

for the first time in about five years 25035 and 27056 together on the same railway

Both working and both in respectable paint finishes and togther. At this point we had just coupled them togther to start testing of the multi jumpers

The radiator settling tanks decided to leak and this means a hell of alot of removing the water cooler group and this was taken after the elements were removed and the internal air duct was loose but not removed

some of the now stored radiator elements which will be tested and replaced as required

after removing the roof hatch on B side. this hasn't seen major attention since 1982 and it shows. it is mostly flaky paint which looks worse than it is

With A side done and with day light it was then windy standing here... But much work needed and new studs aswell.

To show how much hard it was parting the radiator frame from the settling tank, we managed to destroy two knuckle joints doing this

Alas success one radiator frame free from the loco,
